The gal leg spur key ring is sterling silver.  Like the earrings the hanger moves back and fourth and the rowel spins.  The spur its self is 2 1/2" in length and 1 1/8" in width.  If you look at the 2nd picture you can see why its called a gal leg spur.  Jimmie used a real gal leg spur as its model when he made this piece.  When he made the original model it could not be carved out of wax.  It had to be hand constructed.
